Can You Stop Debt As Seen On TV?

So guess what I did today?  I went out to this store called “As Seen On TV” and bought that amazing patch perfect grass that many of you have seen on TV. And while in the store a strange question came to me. Homeowners need a special product or service to help them solve their financial problems too.  So I thought I’d go to the store manager and ask the question.

Dawn I said, that was the clerk’s name, do you have anything to help folks get out of debt or stop foreclosure?  Dawn was stunned.  She never heard that question before.  Of all the items in the store there was no Foreclosure Stopper or Debt Eliminator.  She paused and said “just one moment please.”  Then she spoke and guess what she said.

“Stop Buying On Credit.”  Use credit only to buy items that produce income.  Don’t buy consumable items with it.  Okay now that is easier said than done for most of us.  Don’t you wish you could really make it happen for you?  Here are the three keys I have found to help.  And watch out because though they sound simple they are very powerful.

• Embrace the idea of complete satisfaction in life
• Consider the possibility that less is more
• Commit to stop using your credit cards from your wallet or purse.

Isn’t that an amazing thought?  There is nothing more any of us need in order to be complete and satisfied.  Every human being is complete in his/her self and can choose to be satisfied.  Dawn said, there is no need to buy on credit because you will arrive at the future soon enough and you will be able to buy then.

So let’s look at the implications of that thought.  Are there things around your house that you owe money on?  Are there people in your life you owe money to?  Are there products in your home that you can afford to save for?  Well I figured out that I really do need my grass that I just bought.  So I’m going to go out here and plant it. 

But I’ve discovered for myself that these three ideas work together to keep one debt free and content, while still leaving your energies and faculties in tact to pursue your future dreams and possibilities.
