How Do I Overcome Financial Challenges?
Simple!!! Stop Spending Money You Don’t Have! Right? Well don’t you wish life were that simple. Won’t we all just love our financial dilemmas if that was the case? The truth is life is just not that simple. At least it wasn’t for Mary. She was the single Mother of three small children. And she was up to her eyeballs in debt. She got to that place where she was exhausted, ready to give up.
Until finally she discovered this incredible bill payment strategy. Such an amazing but simple piece of advice that it totally changed her outlook and gave her a sense that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Now she had a clear picture of where she wanted to go and how to get there. That means today is your lucky day. You’ve landed on a post that will change your life because now I’m going to share this amazing secret Mary used to overcome her Financial Challenges and Change Her Foreclosure Situation
——————————————————————————–
Are you ready? Okay I’m going to give you this solution in three easy steps. So here is the first step.
1. STOP Spending Money. I mean completely “STOP”. Take a break from all spending for at least one month. Here is a list of some things you can just “STOP” buying for that one month.
Eating Out – Preparing your own meals at home is way cheaper
Block-buster Videos – Borrow videos from the Library instead
Theater – Plan to return to the theater and treat yourself to a show after you get this debt thing worked out
Night Club or Bar – Just give up the night club scene for one month while you work on your finances
Cable/Satellite – Get the basic cable or satellite package
Long Distance Phone Calls – Make local calls only and ask long distance friends and family to call you instead.
Tax – Take the bus/ride a bike/or walk instead
2. Give Away 10% First. But how can I give away 10% when I’m already in debt you ask? Well that’s just it. When you are in debt don’t you tend to adopt a certain attitude? You adopt the mentality of one who is broke. This mentality will not help you Overcome Financial Challenges. You cannot be thinking broke or scarcity or bills if you want to turn your situation around. By Giving Away 10% to a charity or a church you tap into a mentality that says “No I’m not broke, I have an abundance of wealth all around me”
3. Pay Yourself Second. The most important principle to anyone who wishes to overcome financial challenges is to pay yourself. So many people end up spending all their money on bills and other things because they are unaware of this simple principle. Pay yourself first at least ten percent of your income and then pay your bills off of the rest. Thus every month you will be putting money aside in your account. And therefore you will always have money and your mind will never have to dwell on how broke you are.
4. LIST All Your Current Bills. Order this list from top to bottom with the smallest debt at the top and the largest debt at the bottom. Now suppose you have 5 outstanding debts that look like this
Block-buster Video Late Fees –——- $25.00
Sears Department Store –—————$50.00
Victoria Secret Credit Card ———-$120.00
Best Buy—————————————-$450.00
Chase Manhattan Mortgage———-$850.00
5. PAY The First Two Bills First. Suppose all five of these debts are in collections then you are getting hit with five separate negatives on your account every single 30 day period. You are also getting five different collection departments or lawyers calling you on a regular basis. This causes frustration and emotional pain. By paying the first two bills first, and you may most likely have the funds to do that especially if you followed through on step one, you relieve yourself of that pressure. Those two bill collectors will stop calling.
Further more you will not be incurring late fees on those two accounts. Now please don’t go spending that money to play or have fun or reward yourself just yet. Apply the extra funds from not having to make payments on those accounts every month to the third debt in the list
And by the next month pay the Victoria Secrets Card completely. So now you’ve actually started to change how you pay. Also by now you will only have two bills left to pay and that is the Best Buy Card and the Chase Manhattan Mortgage. But you can see that you will already be experiencing much less stress because your entire debt is lessened and you have fewer collectors calling you.
These four steps worked financial wonders in Mary’s life and I’ve watched many others use it too. I am confident that anybody who tries this formulas of just four steps will experience a tremendous turn in their financial situation. Go ahead and give it a try and let me know how it works for you.
